TrueGaming Network create engaging video game community websites, with an emphasis on tracking in-game rewards (achievements and trophies). This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to join a small emerging development team responsible for some of the largest video games websites on the planet.

Previous experience of development is encouraged but not mandatory as full training and mentoring will be provided to get you started on your career in software development. You will be taught how to work in a full stack environment using SQL programming language, .Net and front-end languages like Javascript and CSS. You will work in our head office as part of a small team, reporting to the Lead Developer, helping to create user-friendly bespoke features for our portfolio of websites.


In this role you will be responsible for developing new website features to specification, designing, building and maintaining reusable and reliable code. You will assist in responding to and resolving software issues and bugs, as well as communicating with volunteer staff members on development-based matters.


You will have the ability to write brilliantly, quickly, and to brief, across a range of disciplines, a keen interest in console videogames and a good knowledge of them. As well as an Xbox Gamertag or a PSN ID, experience writing news or features regularly, preferably online, proficiency with Google Docs, email, and other work tools.

  • Educated to degree level, 2:1 and above, in Computing, Science, Mathematics or Engineering degree, or similar work experience in a relevant field.
  • Good communication and written English skills.
  • Strong analytical, numeracy and problem-solving skills.


You will be given regular feedback to help you improve, and plenty of support to get you up to speed. This will be done in person in our Three Bridges office, and via video calls, screen sharing, and text chat while homeworking.

TrueGaming Network will provide the computer equipment required to work from home, however you will need a working internet connection.
