We’re looking for an experienced and creative UI artist to help us craft an outstanding UI experience for our next game.

We’re looking for someone confident in applying their creative flair with an eye for great visual design. You will be able to flex between working autonomously and collaboratively as needed, taking direction from the Art Lead. Most of all, you are excited to work on games which aim to deliver highly-polished, intuitive gameplay and platform-defining visuals to a wide audience.


  • Working with the Art Lead to ensure UI designs work seamlessly as part of the overall art direction of the project
  • Originating concepts for UI as well as implementing
  • Delivery of final assets for implementation
  • 2D graphic illustration work where needed
  • Ensure in-game UI marries with UX to provide a seamless experience for players
  • Assess and iterate on UI visuals based on collaboration with project team, and user testing feedback
  • Ensure consistency of UI design across multi-platform releases


  • Experience at high mid/senior level
  • Unity for 2D and UI assets
  • Strong sense of graphic design and layout
  • Understanding of UI pipeline within a game production
  • Strong UX knowledge - user flow diagrams and wireframing
  • Familiarity with most recent Unity UI systems and capacity to implement work in-engine
  • Skilled user of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within small cross-disciplinary teams
  • Experience shipping games


  • Basic understanding of game design

We are all working from home right now, so this role will initially be working from home, and we will ensure you have the correct desk set-up to work comfortably and safely from your home. We have on-boarded over 5 of our new people remotely and we will ensure you have everything you need to be successful in your role. We plan to return to the studio (which is based in Oval, London) towards the end of June, but this is provisional and will be assessed on a regular basis.

Monument Valley I & II: The Monument Valley series has changed the gaming landscape on mobile and has helped encourage creators to make something that is short, poetic and beautiful. A new generation of gamers are influenced by this success, and are experiencing these new, exciting and perfectly formed stories and experiences for the first time.
