Velan Studios is looking for its next super star team member with a passion for bringing innovative, ground-breaking videogame experiences to market. As an independent game studio, Velan Studios places invention and creativity at the heart of the studio and needs a passionate and creative publishing team to introduce our products to the world.

Velan Studios is looking for a Producer (Marcom Production) to work as part of our Publishing team as the primary liaison between Velan, and all creative partners internal and external. This position will drive milestones – what, when, who - and coordinate resources ensuring the timely development of creative campaigns for titles across our portfolio. You will report into the CMO and work closely with external agencies, the brand management, community/social, first-party and production teams.

You are a highly organized individual who has worked as a producer or project manager in an entertainment, videogame, film/digital production or advertising agency environment. You are used to a high level of multi-tasking and a fast-moving environment. You will be solution oriented, a strong communicator and collaborator.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains schedule from initial briefing through finished product
• Ensures key milestones are met and creative projects stay on track
• Provides regular status updates to all stakeholders through review sessions and email communications
• Works closely with creative teams to ensure projects milestones are met
• Forecasts potential bottlenecks to ensure resource allocation is accurate and manageable
• Resource management across internal and external teams
• Set up the Velan team for success with all creative materials

Requirements

• 3-5 years as a project manager or producer at a Creative Ad Agency, Videogame Publisher/Studio, Entertainment Company or Post-Production facility.
• Self-driven leader with the ability to take projects from inception to execution
• Experience developing, creating, and refining project management processes
• Experience supporting remote teams across multiple time zones
• Excellent understanding of project management tools
• Strong communication, problem-solving and follow-through skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to set priorities within multiple tasks/projects.
