Viziverse is creating a whole new way to experience 3D gaming and the metaverse – and without a headset! We're an exciting new startup founded by an experienced tech entrepreneur with multiple successful exits and degrees from MIT and Harvard Business School.

Although still in stealth at the moment, we’ve already built first prototypes and are getting enthusiastic reviews from anyone who’s had a chance to interact with them. It looks like we may be onto something potentially big and industry-changing, and now we’re growing the team…

As a Unity Developer for Headsetless 3D Gaming, you’ll have a chance to make games and other applications that are fun, cool, and showcase and build upon our technology’s innovative headsetless 3D capabilities. Moreover, you’ll have the opportunity to work directly with the founder and to work on things that will have a direct impact on the trajectory of both the technology and the company.

It’s a primarily remote position, though we do try to do a workday together in person once every few weeks if you’re not too far from the Boston-area.  It’s helpful for certain cooperation, but also we just like actually getting to see and know each other in person.

What You’ll Do:

• Implement game mechanics with Unity and C# scripts
• Propose games and game mechanics to utilize new VR/AR-adjacent headsetless 3D capabilities
• Work with Unity packages that handle computer vision functionality, networking functionality, etc.

Must-Haves:

• Experience with Unity development
• Experience with C# scripting
• Ability to write clean readable code
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage one’s time
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in 3D games and other applications
• Experience with computer vision and/or deep learning
• Experience with networking
• Experience with GitHub
