Who We Are

VON Republic is a gaming rewards and e-sports platform on Xbox and Mobile. Our platform rewards citizens of VON republic with “Von Coins” based off their "achievements" in console games. Citizens can then use these coins to participate in the VON sports e-sports platform or to bid on real prizes in auctions.

We are a venture backed company with over 30,000 citizens, currently going through a new funding round aimed at scaling the platform. We are about to embark on a growth phase and are looking to recruit a talented Partnerships Manager to help us advertise our product offering to potential partners.

About Your Role

We are looking for a Partnerships Manager to join our team in this newly created role. You will have a senior role within the organization working with the CEO and CMO to help develop and deploy our business development strategy.

You will need to be a self starter that is comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy and ambiguity. You will initially be working with an experienced business development consultant from the gaming industry which will help provide you with contacts and relationships with potential partners.

Your responsibilities will include scoping out potential partnerships, negotiating contracts and building deep relationships with external parties.

You Will

  • Work with CEO and CMO to help align our product, marketing and sales strategy.
  • Source and sign new partners that will drive VON Republics revenue generation.
  • Understand VON Republic’s company strategy inside and out and communicate the value of Von Republic’s platform
  • Build deep relationships with external stakeholders in order to grow VON Republic’s relationships with strategic partners
  • Do market research and industry analysis to help the company focus on the best areas for revenue generation.
  • Help build out a revenue and profitability plan for the company.
  • Create and manage budgets for any business development initiatives.

Who are we looking for

  • An Entrepreneurial mindset
  • 4+ years professional experience, ideally in strategic business development and/or partnerships experience, with experience in signing new partners
  • Experience evaluating opportunities with regard to impact on strategy, brand, finance and operations
  • Built successful relationships with external parties; worked with business owners and executives to explore new opportunities
  • Previous experience in gaming is a plus.
