ambedo studios is looking for a freelance Social Media Manager and Content Creator for the announcement and launch of our upcoming experimental narrative title, Remaining Grace. This is a remote part-time contract, to start as soon as possible.
We’re looking for someone to set up and run our social channels, with a combination of static and short form video content that can highlight some deep topics from the game.

ambedo studios is an indie arthouse studio focused on creating heartfelt interactive narrative experiences across a range of platforms.
We seek to push the cultural, artistic, and literary boundaries of our interactive narrative medium. We want to craft experiences that touch hearts and have lasting meaning. We exist to tell intimate stories of people and relationships, not heroes saving the world.
Our studio is based in Vancouver, Canada, on the colonised lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations of the Coast Salish peoples. We hail from a wide range of cultures, ethnicities, and faiths, and are spread across Canada, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Ukraine, UK, and USA.
We bring our immigrant stories, our Indigenous stories, our wrestlings with faith, race, gender, and culture all into the narrative fabric of the experiences we create. We care deeply about telling the untold stories of lived experiences rarely represented on our screens and pages.
Remaining Grace is an intimate non-linear ghost story about chosen family, human connections, and the mosaic of quiet moments that bind them.
Move through the world as Grace’s wandering spirit. Enter her loved ones through the happenstance of human touch. Inhabit their perspectives across three time periods, weaving a bigger picture between private worlds to explore a multi-layered tale only the dead could tell. Witness a beautiful web of complex relationships before they too disappear forever.
We’ve been lucky to have some incredible jobs working at and partnering with some of the biggest brands in video games.
But we’ve never had more fun and been more fulfilled than when we were working with indie game developers.
