We're Human Computer, a game studio in San Rafael, CA. We're launching our debut game this year. Announcement is right around the corner, and we need someone to help us prep for festivals, Steam, and community.
This role blends launch coordination, production, and community management. You'll be our point person for getting the game out into the world, from festival submissions to social posts. It's a wear-many-hats kind of gig, and we're looking for someone who's done this before.

Let's do this!

We're an independent video game studio built to tell great stories. We are currently hard at work on our debut game █████ ██████████ releasing in 2025 and in pre-production for █████ ████.
Who
Human Computer was founded by people who believe in the magic that happens when technology meets storytelling. We've spent our careers building things people love, and now we're creating the kinds of games we've always wanted to play.
Human Computer was founded by Alex Schleifer and Eliot Garcia Weisberg and is currently hiring so watch this space.
Why now
We see games entering their most exciting chapter. As technology transforms how we create and play, there's an opportunity to build experiences that were previously impossible. But rather than chasing endless content or massive open worlds, we're focused on creating contained, meaningful experiences that push creative boundaries. Stories can pull you in. Computers can provide unpredictable magic. We're bringing both together.
Changes in technology will continue transform gaming, human creativity and connection remain at the heart of meaningful experiences. We're using technology thoughtfully – not to replace human creativity, but to enhance it. To enable new forms of storytelling. To create moments of genuine surprise and delight. We're building games that tell original stories, are immensely fun to play, and push creative boundaries.
Why it matters (to us)
Culture won't be defined by endless generative content. It will be shaped by humans using technology to create things that resonate at a deep human level. While massive changes are coming, people will always seek connection through real stories, play, and community. That's our focus: creating high-quality experiences that aren't meant to kill time, but to make time matter.
Join us
We're always looking for talented people who share our vision. If you believe in the power of games to create meaningful experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
