Hi, I am hiring a 2D artist to paint a skybox for my VR sculpting app. 

One of the environments for the app is a workshop nestled in an imaginary Italian mountain on the coast of the Mediterranean sea. I have been using a mock asset until now but I now need a full complete 4k skybox made by a real artist.

Here's the link to the mood board, think cozy, renaissance style, sun drenched and beautiful.

The style should be on the cleaner side with readable buildings and rock formations / cliffs, water and architecture.

I expect a few buildings to be visible, think renaissance style temples, villas. A lot of stone both in the buildings, or on the cliffs and natural formations. That classic latin lesson vibe.

If you have a Meta Quest  2 or 3 you can try the app to get a look for yourself at the app makerscape.info (you can see the current mock skybox through the windows of the workshop environment)

In the current version the skybox is visible through the windows of the workshop, but in the future I am thinking of having a balcony where you can walk and see the whole landscape, so it really needs 360 degrees view.

The deadline is roughly the end of July (4 weeks) and the budget can be negotiated but ranging from $300 to $600 USD, based on the quality of your portfolio of course.

We will do an initial video call and then use Discord through the process for communication so you need a (free) Discord account.

Timezone needs to be US west coast compatible (I work roughly 9:30am / 5pm PST) - should be available to text chat a couple times a week
