Midain Studios is seeking an experienced Unity Systems Design/Technical Designer Consultant to review and advise on the gameplay systems of an upcoming indie title currently in development.
About Midain Studios
We are a science gamification startup/ bootstrapping, rev-share indie studio (5-person team: 2D/3D generalists and animators, Unity dev, narrative designer/writer/business dev, social media specialist) focused on impact games that use an autotelic impact narrative.
We have a clear business and marketing strategy thanks to which we have been sponsored and will participate at Gamescom in August, presented our game on RTL, and collaborated with the Science Center and the Museum of Natural History in Luxembourg, among others.
For now, we decided not to go to the publisher route for strategic reasons, so we are bootstrapping and using our own money for the few tasks we cannot do in-house, while looking for the last teammates to complete our team (it will be a 6-person team).
About the Game
Scarlet O'Beetle and the Unseen World is a cozy life simulation and narrative adventure game where players take on the role of a ladybug doctor caring for insect patients while uncovering a mystery affecting the ecosystem around them.
