We are Table Knight Games and we are working on UnderMire, a 1-4 player first person online co-op roguelite adventure game where you descend into a magical, ever-changing bunker to confront the dark forces that lie within. Battle fear-fueled monsters, SMUSH everyday junk into magical weapons, master evolving tools, complete tasks from a cantankerous spirit cat, and survive the chaos alone or with your friends

As development progresses, we are starting to put more attention into visibility, wishlists, and getting the right players interested in the game.

So we are looking for a community manager who enjoys:

• Playing games (especially indie)
• Living online (some doom scrolling is OK)
• Keeping up with the latest in the gaming space

If you enjoy spotting trends, making content, talking to players, and pushing a game forward like it is your own, keep reading.

What you will be doing

• Grow and manage our presence across Discord, Reddit, and social platforms
• Create and publish content including development updates, memes, clips, and short videos
• Play UnderMire and turn gameplay and development into content opportunities
• Reach out to creators, press, and partners and actively build relationships
• Maintain and update outreach lists and ensure consistent progress
• Run Discord activities, moderate the community, and keep it engaged and active
• Spot opportunities for content from the game, the team, and the community
• Operate in a consistent loop of brainstorming ideas, planning content, executing, tracking performance, and improving over time with clear and visible progress

What we are looking for

• Strong ownership and ability to follow through
• Comfortable working independently
• Ability to take ideas from concept to execution
• Proactively identifies problems and takes initiative to solve them
• Understands internet culture, memes, and gaming trends
• Knows how Reddit works and how to engage properly within different communities
• Comfortable creating short-form content and experimenting with formats
• Actively plays games and understands what makes them fun to watch and share
• Genuinely excited about games and the kind of person who becomes UnderMire’s biggest fan!
• Comfortable reaching out to creators and starting conversations
• Clear communication and presence in weekly team meetings
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Nice to have

• Experience in building a game community from development through to launch
• Experience with newsletters or email campaigns
• Familiar with Steam community features and events
• Comfortable being on camera
• Familiar with capturing footage directly from Unity
