About the Project

Dolly’s Factory combines eerie atmosphere, emotional lore, and character-driven humor. Players explore the factory as plushies, building relationships through dialog while piecing together the story behind the Rejects and the Creator.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a creative writer to bring the world of Dolly’s Factory to life through engaging dialog, character interactions, and lore writing.

Responsibilities

• Write dialog for plushie characters that balances charm, humor, and tension.
• Develop lore entries, item descriptions, and event text that build mystery without over-explaining.
• Work closely with the design team to maintain consistent tone and character voices.
• Brainstorm narrative events, environmental storytelling, and subtle lore reveals suited for Roblox gameplay.
• Revise and polish writing based on playtests and feedback.

Requirements

• Strong creative writing background (games, screenplays, comics, or novels welcome).
• Ability to write in both lighthearted and creepy/mysterious tones.
• Understanding of character voice and pacing in interactive Roblox experiences.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Roblox survival/horror games.
