The Studio Uptown is an independent game studio based in Maryland, USA. We are dedicated to creating narrative heavy, explorative games. Our first game begun development in August of 2022.
Our small studio was founded by Mackenzie Beyer, a Narrative Designer and Director who worked on projects ranging from visual novels to open world role playing games.
The Studio Uptown is up and coming, and is currently focused on its first project, as well as curating a team. If you are interested in working for a flexible studio that requires no prior professional experience, be sure to apply!
We’ve been lucky to have some incredible jobs working at and partnering with some of the biggest brands in video games.
But we’ve never had more fun and been more fulfilled than when we were working with indie game developers.
