We’re looking for a Mid / Senior UI / UX Artist to join our growing games studio based in Bournemouth on the UK’s South Coast. This is a mid to senior-level position for a creative professional who can blend artistry with technical know-how to deliver impactful visuals across our games and marketing. You’ll play a key role in shaping the visual identity of our titles and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to bring our game to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality visual assets for games including UI, HUD elements, menus, marketing materials and promotional artwork.
• Work closely with game designers, developers, and artists to ensure graphics enhance gameplay, storytelling, and player experience.
• Establish and maintain visual guidelines, ensuring consistency across all design outputs.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director and Game Designer to take visual direction and create screen layouts, icons and on brand assets.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools and techniques to push the creative quality bar higher.

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience within the games industry (PC / Console / Mobile).
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX for games and general design.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, and other industry-standard tools.
• Solid understanding of typography, layout, composition, illustration and colour theory.
• Familiarity with Unity is a very strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a passion for visual storytelling.

Nice to Have

• Motion graphics / video editing skills.
• Branding or marketing campaign design experience.
• Skilled in use of the latest AI tools.
• Regular (or fulltime) work with the team in our Bournemouth office.
