Who We Are

Armor Games Studios is a small but passionate team of gamers who LOVE supporting indie developers as they make amazing games and find their audience. From cozy farming sims to chaotic roguelikes, we work closely with creators to craft thoughtful marketing strategies and meaningful community engagement. We remain proudly independent with our goal to empower developers and champion their games!

If you love games, community, and creativity, you might be our next teammate.

The Role: What You’ll Do

We’re looking for someone who can do more than “post on socials.” This is a hands-on marketing & social media + communications role. You’ll be the go-to for building strategy, executing it, and helping grow our brand, our games, and our community.

Your daily courtyard will include:

  • Building and running monthly content calendars across social media (Twitter/X, TikTok, Instagram, etc.), Steam/console/PC announcements, and community channels.
  • Executing posts, reels, videos, graphics—thinking beyond “just post”, but _why_ we post, _what_ we want, and how we measure it.
  • Engaging with our players and creators: Discord, forums, Steam discussions, live events, etc.
  • Managing the “communications stack”: newsletters, developer-updates, press/creator outreach, and basic campaign workflows.
  • Tracking metrics: followers, engagement, wishlist growth, newsletter opens/CTR while sharing actionable insights and helping steer future campaigns.
  • Collaborating with our devs, art, and marketing team: getting assets, creating press kits, crafting copy, gathering player feedback, aligning release-beats.
  • Managing and tracking ad campaigns across a variety of platforms and doing daily/weekly adjustments to maximize wishlist conversions

What Success Looks Like

In your first 30 and 60-days

  • 30 days: Content calendar live with strong steady social momentum (daily posts going out across channels)
  • 60 days: Clear upward trend in wishlists as well as ad campaigns running for all future releases; and tracked internally for cost per wishlist conversion.

Must-Haves

  • 3-5+ years (or equivalent) in social media, community management, or marketing/communications in games
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Experience publishing social posts, building community calendars, and tracking basic metrics (engagement, growth, conversions).
  • Creative mindset: can generate ideas, iterate, and do the hands-on execution (graphics/videos) or partner with creators/tools to do so.
  • Self‐directed: you manage your time, follow through on deliverables, communicate clearly, and don’t need micromanaging.
  • Experience with paid social/influencer campaigns (TikTok, Instagram, Meta, YouTube).

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with game-specific platforms: Steam news/devlogs, in-game asset capture (screenshots/videos), console/PC announcement workflows.
  • Experience working at home and managing your time. We have employees across all 3 time zones and need someone who overlaps with these for a majority of the time.
  • Portfolio/examples of social posts, campaigns, reel/video snippets, community events.
  • Gaming passion: being a gamer helps you understand the audience and language.

Perks & Logistics

  • Fully remote
  • Flexible hours (target Up to 30 hours/week)
  • Contract-based with Pay between $30 and $40 Based on Experience
  • Join a kind, creative, indie-first culture where your voice matters, your work influences real releases, and you get to work with passionate devs.

How to Apply

Send us:

1. Your resume/CV

2. A short intro (why you’re excited, why this role excites you)

3. A portfolio or sample links (social posts, community campaigns, newsletters, etc.)

4. (Optional but awesome) Your links to social handles, Discord communities you’ve built, dev/creator outreach you’ve done

We’ll be in touch if your fit matches; we’re excited to meet someone who loves games, community, and creating meaningful marketing.
