As the IT Administrator at Breaking Walls, you will be the cornerstone of our technical infrastructure, ensuring that all team members have the hardware, software, and access they need to perform their roles effectively. You will manage and support our IT systems, provide technical assistance, and maintain a seamless and efficient working environment for the entire team. 

Responsibilities: 

• Hardware Setup and Maintenance: Ensure all workstations are equipped with the necessary hardware, including computers, monitors, and peripherals. Perform regular maintenance and upgrades as needed. 
• User Account Management: Create and manage user accounts across various platforms and systems, ensuring all team members have the appropriate access to tools and resources. 
• Software Installation and Support: Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications required for game development and daily operations. 
• Network Administration: Maintain and monitor the office network, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity. Address any network issues promptly. 
• Technical Support: Provide timely technical support to team members, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently. 
• Inventory Management: Keep an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware and software licenses. Ensure timely procurement and replacement of equipment. 
• Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce IT policies to ensure data security and compliance with industry standards. Manage antivirus, backup, and disaster recovery systems. 
• Vendor Coordination: Work with external vendors and service providers to manage IT-related contracts, purchases, and services. 

Required Skills and Experience: 

• IT Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT administration, preferably within the gaming or technology industry. 
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in setting up and maintaining hardware, software, and networks. Strong troubleshooting skills. 
• User Support: Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional user support and training. 
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various IT tasks and projects simultaneously. 
• Security Knowledge: Knowledge of IT security best practices and experience in implementing security measures. 
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and vendors. 

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

• Gaming Industry Background: Experience working in the gaming industry or a similar creative environment. 
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP). 
• Bilingualism: Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset. 
• Educational Background: A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
