The Project — RÉQUIEM: Light and Shadow
RÉQUIEM: Light and Shadow is an emotional metroidvania where the world changes based on how you play.
Every screen can remain “dark” or become “calm” depending on your actions, affecting enemies, platforms, routes, and narrative progression. The protagonist is a small being made of living clay, guided by its own floating consciousness.
This is an atmospheric, symbolic project — a unique experience about identity, emotion, and transformation.
The Role
I'm looking to hire a freelance Level Designer (Metroidvania / 2.5D) for a short-term contract.
While I’m based in Madrid (CET), I’m open to candidates from anywhere, as long as communication is clear and async-friendly. I can work with both Spanish and English speakers.
