Cyquential Studios is currently looking for a senior unreal multiplayer developer to help optimize the current networking code for an upcoming survival pursuit extraction game. This is a three to nine month (depending on the amount of skills you have that match our needs) full time remote contract position and will roughly consist of the following:

• Implement Mass Replication for Unreal Engine's MassAI and Mass Gameplay Systems
• Use UNetworkPhysicsSettings Component to create smooth feeling vehicle movement for clients
• Fully check entire game code base to make sure networking is done efficiently, as well as overall game optimization for performance.
• Handle various other C++ and Blueprint Programming Tasks as needed.

Essentials:

• Experience with any of the tasks mentioned above
• Proficiency (at least 3-5) years in Unreal C++ & Blueprint
• Significant prior experience in optimizing and networking for games
• Knowledge of Unreal's MassAI (or the ability to quickly learn it)
• Experience with Unreal Insights for Profiling
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to lead

Good to have:

• Located in Ohio (not required, we are primarily a remote team!)
