- Experience shipping at least one title (AAA experience not required, but y’know, appreciated), with a demonstrated ability to tackle complex programming challenges.
- Familiarity with advanced idle and simulation game mechanics, including minigames and more complex game systems
- Ability to work efficiently and autonomously, taking ownership of technical aspects and contributing to overall project direction
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, particularly in optimizing game performance and implementing advanced gameplay features
- A portfolio or examples of relevant work
- Able to communicate clearly and efficiently in English
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement gameplay mechanics using Unreal Engine 5
- Collaborate with designers and artists to integrate assets and features
- Optimize game performance and ensure a seamless player experience
- Iterate on gameplay features based on feedback and testing
- Meet project milestones and deadlines outlined in the contract
Not Required but a Plus:
- Dark sense of humor
- Fondness for cute aesthetics
- Love for music and sound design
Additional Details:
- Location: Remote (US)
- Job Type: Contract
- Salary: Competitive, based on experience
