The Ask

Good Story Guild is looking for a motivated self-starter to manage the community and grassroots marketing initiatives of our young production company. 

This individual will start with our first interactive release, a cozy stealth adventure game, planned for release in the first quarter of 2025.

Who are we looking for?

• You have experience with managing online communities, and their best practices.
• You’re passionate about advocating for great stories, whether it’s in a video game, an audio drama, or a web series.
• You’re interested in growing your skillset, and open to new opportunities as the company grows with you.
• A passion for indie video games and their communities is a huge plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Community Champion - Be the online face of the GSG community and nurture our audience at the grassroots level.
• Story Strategist - Create a community marketing strategy that will help build an engaged community of fans, be responsible for bringing it to life, and measure its success.
• Growth & Retention Mindset - Passionate about innovating campaigns to drive community growth, visibility, and retention for Good Story Guild projects.
• Onboarding Captain - create a process to onboard new members so they get the most out of the community and are more likely to stick around.

Capacity

The role will begin as a part-time freelance role, with an opportunity to scale up to full-time after the initial onboarding quarter.
