I’m HLNK, a solo developer based in Spain. I’ve recently started working on a 3D game that needs a custom tech stack/game engine I’m not experienced enough to make by myself, as I’m a self-learned programmer. I’m talking about features such as, but not limited to:
The game is a 3D open world war simulator with an emphasis on emergent behavior and narratives - the decision on the need of a custom game engine arises from the particular features of the game, such as handling of a large number of independent entities with which you can interact as if they were players like you.
