We are currently working on an unannounced original PC/Console narrative-driven game and are looking for a 3D Animator to join our team. You’ll be a part of our tiny team of animators working together to bring the cast of our game to life. We’re looking for a third person to round out our existing animation crew and join us in creating lively, personality-filled keyframe animations for a cast of detailed character.! Your day-to-day will likely involve picking animations off the asset list that interest you (or that just need doing) and seeing them through to a state that can be given notes on without significant step-by-step oversight, so being self-starting is a plus here.
The style of the game is a sort of restrainedly toony movement on high-detail characters - we need to support a narrative mix of humor and complete sincerity, so finding that balance is important. That said, we’re not really asking for super elaborate film-type animation. What we’re looking for more than anything is someone who can bring out the personality of a wildly differing cast of characters in small and memorable ways, without leaning too hard on genericizing animation cliches.
While this is a fully remote position, applicants will need to be available to work from 10am to 2pm PT.
