Lightbulb Crew is looking for an Artistic Director to work on an unannounced project.

As an Artistic Director, you will work closely with the Creative Director to define an outstanding artistic vision for our new project, communicate that vision to the team, and help them realize it.

At Lightbulb Crew we are focused on creating games with great attention to quality and innovation in image, gameplay and themes, and we are looking for someone who will fit in to move the team forward. We can offer a supporting environment and the opportunity to work on truly innovative projects.

We are looking for someone who will:

• Create a unique and outstanding art style for our new game in collaboration with our Creative Director
• Produce art works, concepts and illustrations to help communicate the artistic vision
• Support 2D and 3D artists in helping to realize the vision
• Will help recruit the art team and guide them on the project
• Document visual design guidelines to ensure consistency across visual elements of the game

The ideal person for the job:

• Lives in Europe (or a similar timezone)
• Is fluent English (C1 mandatory)
• 5 years of artistic experience in video games
• Great concept art skills
• Puts the art at the service of the player experience
• Has varied experience of video game art
• Is able to work independently as well as in close cooperation with others because of the remote organisation

Bonus point for:

• Previous experience as an artistic director.
• Experience of realizing art in engine (VFX, 3D modeling etc)
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Communication skills
• Experience with management/leadership on a team

Additional details:

• Contract: CDI
• Salary range : 50 - 55 000 €
• Location: 157 Boulevard MacDonald, 75019, Paris or remote.
