We are developing a cozy idle game based around collecting magical creatures!

Position Details:

• Title: Social Media & Community Manager
• Location: This is a freelance, remote position. (Preferably within the United States). We operate in Pacific Standard Time.
• Employment type: Part-time contract (~15-20 hrs/week) for 3 months with a potential for extension.
• Compensation: $25-30/hr based on experience.

We are Moonpath Games, a small team of seasoned developers working on Omee Life! Omee Life is a cozy game that combines idle and virtual pet gameplay all set in a magical world!

The Role:

As our Social Media & Community Manager, you will be our primary presence online to responsibly nurture and grow our community. You’ll work closely with our development team to showcase our progress, engage with the community and gather feedback. 

You must have a love for cozy games!

What You’ll Do:

Content Creation

• Develop and Execute a consistent social media strategy across key platforms. (e.g. Twitter, Discord, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit)
• Capture and create engaging image or short video content that showcases our game features, development updates, lore, team and whatever else comes from your creative mind!
• Schedule and publish engaging posts.

Community Engagement & Growth:

• Actively monitor and respond to comments, messages and mentions across social platforms in an engaged manner.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment within our Discord community server. Organize events, Polls, and Q&A’s.
• Identify and engage with relevant communities, influencers, content creators and media outlets.

Player Feedback:

• Collect, organize and summarize community feedback.
• Act as a bridge between the players and developers to make their voices heard.

Qualifications:

• A genuine love for cozy games and a deep understanding of the genre and the culture surrounding it.
• Proven success growing and managing social media accounts for a brand or business. (Ideally for a game studio!)
• A creative and flexible mind! The ability to adapt to current trends as well as the creativity to create engaging content.
• Have an analytics-driven approach, and a familiarity with social media analytics tools.
• Ability to independently manage tasks.
• Clear communication with not only the community, but the development team as well!
