We're Pine Creek Games, a small indie game studio, and our website hasn't kept up with where we're at now. We're looking for an independent web developer, not an agency, to help us redesign and rebuild it into something that reflects the studio and the games we're making. We're open to your take on the best way to build it, we care more about the end result than any particular tech stack. We also want the website to be built in a way where we can easily update it with more content and changes along the way.

What you'd be doing

• Take a look at our current site and tell us honestly what's worth keeping vs. rebuilding from scratch.
• Design and implement the overhaul, both the look and the build.
• Recommend the platform/stack that makes sense for our needs and how much we'll realistically maintain ourselves afterward (WordPress, a static site, something custom).
• Make it fast, mobile-friendly, and easy for us to update without needing you for every small change.
• Basic SEO/metadata setup so the site is actually findable.
• Light integration with our socials, store/wishlist links, and press kit.

What we're looking for

• An independent developer: we like the idea of working directly with one person, not going through an agency.
• A portfolio with past web work, ideally for small businesses, creative projects, or other indie studios.
• Someone comfortable owning both design and implementation.
• Able to work within a tight, few-week turnaround.
• Bonus: you've built for a game studio or entertainment brand before, or just get the aesthetic of that world.
