pprojects, etc. is a small, remote-working team working full-time on our first commercial title with plans for release in 2028. We’re currently deep in development of the game’s core systems, and will soon pivot to creating the full scope of content for the story and world. That’s where you come in!

What we are looking for: 

We need a skilled and enthusiastic Environment Artist to help us craft a lived-in world full of striking detail and unique character. We’re looking for someone with the following areas of expertise:

• Hand-drawn illustration in a non-cartoon, quasi-realistic style
• Top-down isometric perspective in the vein of Disco Elysium, Invisible Inc., Shadowrun Returns, etc.
• Ability to adapt to another artist’s style
• Confidence to take the lead on turning location concept art into jaw-dropping in-engine environments
• Reliability and commitment to seeing the project through to completion
• Experience with Blender and Grease Pencil is a BIG plus

What we offer: 

This role will start out as a part-time contractor with the goal of gradually increasing your workload if all goes well. Pay rates are open for discussion, and will be based on experience and budget viability.

We operate on an open-ended, negotiable deadline basis. We agree on the next asset(s) to produce, hash out a rough timeline, and periodically check in on progress. How and when you decide to work is entirely up to you. We may have the occasional meeting in the PST time zone’s morning/early afternoon, but otherwise no other scheduled time commitments are necessary.
