From the team behind the success of Humble Bundle and Humble Games, Prismatika is a newly-founded, venture-backed indie publisher building a home for talented indie devs. Our focus is on close partnerships with developers, and the long-term nurturing of amazing indie game IPs. Come join us!

We’ve signed several titles - including our first two announced games: Fabular: Once upon a Spacetime and Desktop Dungeons: Rewind - and are now expanding our core publishing team. We’re searching for a creative, self-starter with a love for indie games and those who make them.

Our founders Steven Kovensky (CEO) and Eduardo Aparicio (CPO) left Humble Bundle in 2021 after nearly 10 years there. At Humble, they led business development and helped grow the business from its early days to its sale in 2017, and to a major milestone of over $200m raised for charity. They also launched and ran Humble’s successful indie publishing business, Humble Games, until their departure to found Prismatika.

The role: Social Media and Community Coordinator

In this role, you will assist with the content planning and creation for Prismatika’s expanding portfolio of games, helping us to reach new audiences and managing our existing relations. You will be working closely with our Social Media and Community Manager, and interact with each game’s community on behalf of the studios to promote their games.

This is an exciting role for a passionate storyteller, who is enthusiastic about getting our titles in front of a wide audience. You’ll be welcomed into a dynamic environment with a close-knit team that loves to collaborate and support each other.

Location: Remote. Our founders are in Europe (Berlin and Madrid) but we’re happy to work with anyone in any location with a reasonable time-zone overlap.

  • Oversee the day-to-day output and content across social and community channels (Twitter, Steam, Discord, and TikTok)
  • Produce relevant video and graphic content for social media posts.

  • Maintain and moderate our Discord servers.
  • Report on and analyse social media performance and related analytics monthly.
  • Devise fresh, daring (and ideally measurable) tactics that attract attention, generate interest and ultimately deliver sales.
  • Play test current and future Prismatika titles and provide feedback.
  • Occasionally help with additional tasks to support the wider team.

Who We’re Looking For

  • A full-time, fully remote, Social Media and Community Coordinator, located within a reasonable distance of the Central European Time zone (+/- 4 hours).
  • Curious self-starter with a desire to learn on the job.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Someone who is comfortable being in front of a camera.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
  • Video games aficionado, who loves games outside of work too!

Bonus Points For

  • Passion for games and knowledge of interesting social campaigns with the industry.
  • Being able to share a list of successful social media accounts that you’ve managed.
  • Knowledge of both current and emerging social media and community management platforms, as well as their elusive algorithms.
  • Experience with graphic design and video creation.
  • Experience in other roles in game development.
  • A passion for indie games (which will be put to the test!)
  • Having a high tolerance for (or blissful enjoyment of) bad puns.

Working at Prismatika is awesome!

In addition to a competitive salary, we also offer:

  • Friendly, open and collaborative colleagues :)
  • Fully remote work-from-home - no commuting!
  • Flexible working hours, with rough overlap with core team hours of 11am-4pm Central European Time.
  • Annual company shutdown over the December holiday period.
  • $1,000/€1,000 equipment budget for laptop etc.
  • Stock option plan in progress; launch expected in Q4 2022.
  • Generous vacation policy.
  • Birthday day off, along with birthday gift!
  • $250/€250 annual game-buying allowance, and team gaming sessions.
  • Annual fund for company-paid training.
  • And more to come as we grow!
