Psychic Software is seeking voice actors for The Necromancer’s Tale, a story-rich top-down RPG which tells a dark tale of revenge, insanity and raising the dead. 

This is a part-time remote (anywhere) contract position.

The game is set in a fictional kingdom near the Adriatic Sea in 1733, and reflects a broadly realistic setting with dark-fantasy trappings. There is a large cast of characters (150+) and we plan to initially record partial voice-overs in English for them each. We hope to expand this to full voice-overs later.

Our plan is to hire several voice actors in order to get vocal variety. We need male and female voices with any accent (but we do have some specifics needed: Irish accent, British accent, Italian accent; plus Germanic, Slovenian, Croatian, American, Turkish, Senegalese etc. are all welcome: our characters are from these countries and more). We need a range of ages, from children to young adult, to middle aged and right through to senior. There are also a number of supernatural characters so we welcome applications from voice actors who can do interesting voices for ghosts, demons etc.

Please email your interest indicating the types of characters you’d be suitable for. Please also include your per-word cost (unfortunately our budget is tight so this has to be a factor). You can mention your previous experience, but please don’t put a lot of effort into a resume because we will be asking you to do a recording test and this is all we’ll need to make a decision.
