We’re Qloud Games, an Australian-based indie studio with remote team members hailing from around the world. We’re developing Loftia, and our growing studio is scaling up and now looking for an Art Director to lead our art team.

Loftia is a cozy take on the MMO genre, where players farm, build, and contribute to the growth of a sustainable, solarpunk world. The game mixes the chill, relaxing atmosphere of existing titles such as Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing, with the social aspects of a massively multiplayer game. Our vision is to provide a space where players can discover a sense of belonging, work together with others in the community to build and grow a sustainable world, and inspire hope for the future.

For more information, check out our recent Kickstarter campaign.

If you’re excited by the prospect of building shared worlds loved by massive audiences, and creating a charming and aesthetic cozy world that warms the hearts of its players, then we would absolutely love to hear from you!

  • define and oversee the art production pipeline, encompassing all stages from initial concept development through to 3D modelling and texturing, rigging and animation, set dressing, visual effects, and optimization
  • play a hands-on role in the creation of art assets, in collaboration with the artists on the team
  • be responsible for final delivery in accordance with the project’s artistic direction, technical restrictions, and deadlines

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • a deep passion for cozy games and our vision of sharing a brighter future with gamers across the world,
