Roguery Games is a new indie studio making games for players who thrive on challenge, growth, and triumph after every trial. We’re looking for a Head Engineer to join our founding team and bring our worlds to life through code.
You Will:
- Lead all engineering efforts, from core gameplay systems to tools and pipelines
- Work closely with the Technical Designer and Artist to bring mechanics and visuals to life
- Develop scalable, maintainable code that supports both current and future projects
- Optimize performance and ensure smooth, stable builds for players
- Establish coding best practices, workflows, and documentation for a small but growing team
- Help shape the DNA of Roguery Games as a founding member
You Have:
- Strong proficiency in Unity (C#), Godot (GDScript), or Unreal Engine 5 (C++/ C++/Blueprints)
- Experience building and shipping indie or small-team games
- Solid understanding of gameplay programming, systems architecture, and debugging
- Ability to collaborate with designers and artists to translate creative vision into code
- Excitement to wear multiple hats in a small, highly collaborative studio environment

- Job Type: Part-time (Minimum 20 hrs/week)
- Pay: $1,500/month + profit sharing (with increases after launch)
