Roguery Games is a new indie studio creating games for players who thrive on challenge, growth, and triumph after every trial. We’re looking for a Head of UX/UI to join our founding team and shape how players interact with our worlds.
You Will:
- Lead UX/UI direction across menus, HUD, in-game feedback, and onboarding flows
- Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate ideas
- Collaborate with the Creative Director, Engineers, and Artists to ensure clarity and usability
- Translate complex mechanics into intuitive, player-friendly interfaces
- Establish standards, style guides, and workflows for UX/UI within a small, agile team
- Shape the DNA of Roguery Games as a founding member
You Have:
- Skilled storytelling and presentation skills. You clearly articulate the 'why' and 'what' behind ideas, fostering team motivation and understanding
- A portfolio showcasing UX/UI work for games or other creative projects (indie, shipped titles, prototypes, or mods welcome)
- A strong sense of player empathy, psychology, and accessibility
- Experience creating both visual assets (icons, menus, layouts) and interaction flows
- Familiarity with implementation in Unity, Godot, or Unreal Engine
- Excitement to wear multiple hats and collaborate closely in a small indie team

- Job Type: Part-time (Minimum 20 hrs/week)
- Pay: $1,500/month + profit sharing (with increases after launch)
