We are seeking a talented 3D character artist to help bring our atmospheric horror game to life. We are looking for someone with professional experience creating game and animation ready characters, and the ability to match target art style (Bioshock/Dishonored) with compelling design and high technical quality.
About the Gig:
- Compensated: Yes
- Per Diem/As Needed
- Pay: Negotiable/Per Asset (Est. 2.5k-6k based on asset needs)

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience creating AAA quality game characters; an understanding of horror tropes and aesthetics a plus.
- Expertise in authoring clean, animation ready topology with performance optimized assets.
- Familiarity with sculpting software such as ZBrush and retopology workflow and processes.
- Experience with the material and skeletal mesh pipeline in Unreal Engine 5.
- Experience with rigging and Unreal Engine animation technical art pipelines a plus.
- Ability to interpret and match established concept art.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate through the design process with project director in multiple stages, iterating as project requires.
- Easy to work with and receptive to critique and feedback.
