Sugamu is looking for a talented 2D UI/UX Artist to join the team and help bring JollyRoll to life, our cozy reimagining of classic marble-matching games.

You'll be responsible for creating fun and playful UI, branding, and visual assets for the game, with a strong focus on crafting an enjoyable and intuitive player experience. If you enjoy taking ownership of your work and creating charming, cozy styles, we'd love to hear from you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Create UI assets for gameplay and menu elements
• Concept visual elements which support the overall look and feel of the game
• Help develop branding and marketing materials
• Collaborate with the team to ensure visuals support gameplay clarity and player experience

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• A strong portfolio demonstrating your artistic style and visual design ability
• Ability to make decisions on what's needed based on development goals
• Ability to document planning and progress using tools such as Miro or Trello
• Clear communication through weekly updates and Discord development channels
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience designing UI for games or interactive applications
• Experience working with source control
• An understanding of marble matcher games such as Zuma and Luxor
