To accelerate both engine features and gameplay systems, we’re looking for an experienced senior programmer to expand the engines core functionality, including further development of our Vulkan rendering backend.

We’re a tight-knit indie team building a Survival Sandbox game within our own C#-based engine.

How we work
We care about doing things the right way. Sunfox Studios takes a standard approach to internal development. We work in an agile, sprint-based workflow (scrum-like), with an international team operating full-time on flexible schedules (Monday-Friday).
Our focus is on building reliable systems and ensuring that development remains stable and scalable over the long term as we increase team size. We place emphasis on clean code architecture, clear documentation, and consistent standards/workflows to keep iteration efficient and forward-moving.
As we strive for the long-term, this approach allows the studio to scale production without losing control of quality, velocity, or long-term maintainability.
We’ve been lucky to have some incredible jobs working at and partnering with some of the biggest brands in video games.
But we’ve never had more fun and been more fulfilled than when we were working with indie game developers.
