Secret Games Co is a British game studio founded in 2012. We’re a small but experienced team working on our 5th game (and starting our 6th). We make strategy games that offer players something meaningfully different from what they can find elsewhere; everybody on our team contributes ideas. We have secure funding and we’ve never cancelled a project.

Qualifications
We are looking for a Video Editor (Trailers & Cinematics), who we can work with long-term, when we have a video task on one of our projects. These will be either an in-game cinematic, such as an intro video or cut scene, or a marketing video: teaser, trailer, explainer, Kickstarter video, etc.
Our games are 2D with beautiful hand-drawn assets. You will play them to capture footage and work with our game director on the creative direction for a video. You will have the freedom to make videos in your own style. Our art team, a lead artist and an animator, will support the video creation process.
At the moment, we are focused on our upcoming strategy / management game, Bon Vivant, a roguelite set in 1920s Paris, where you throw parties for the stars of the era: Picasso, Chanel, Orwell, et al. You can learn more about it in our Discord.

At the dawn of history, Bronze Age kings built the first empires. Strategize their rise to power in Ozymandias, a uniquely streamlined 4X. Expand your borders, build cities in tactical locations then raise armies to defend them. Each turn, you receive opportunities but must choose only one, complete the objective to earn the reward. Random victory conditions make every game different; custom victory conditions support different styles of play.
Kim is an open world RPG set in colonial India. Play as Rudyard Kipling's ragamuffin hero, Kim, and roam hand-painted towns and procedurally generated countryside. Learn to survive by fair means or foul, meet characters from history and literature, travel to exotic lands and discover their secrets. Your aim is to live Kim's youth as best you can, it will not last forever but if at first you don't succeed, you may retell this classic adventure as often as you wish.
