I am working on a personal game project that helps you learn Japanese words. I am looking for an environment artist to take existing art sketches and pieces as reference and create new game assets.

Important Details:

• This job is freelance contract work.
• Payment is preferred to be done through Wise (International) or Interac e-Transfer (Canada).
• This is a passion project being worked on by myself and one other artist.

Requirements

• Experience in background environment illustrations and game asset production.
• Match existing art direction and style.
• Take reference sketches and create new game ready assets.
• Game ready assets must be able to be imported into Spine and Tiled.
• Utilization of project management software (Shortcut) to report updates and track tasks.
• Communication via Email and video conferencing software (Google Meet, etc.)
• Take advice from lead artist.
• Provide estimates for required tasks and invoices.
• Proficiency in the English language.

Scope of Work

• 5 Stages with 2 variations: normal and cursed
• 1 Map design with various elements representing the world
