The Producer is responsible for the full production lifecycle of Suzerain: Project Vanguard. This role owns planning, execution, coordination, and delivery across all disciplines, ensuring the project meets quality, scope, and timeline expectations. The Producer works closely with narrative, design, art, technical, QA, and localization teams, and coordinates with production leadership to keep development aligned and on track.

 

Job requirements

Essential qualifications

  • Proven experience as a producer or project manager on game development projects, from production start through delivery.
  • Strong understanding of game development workflows across narrative, design, art, engineering, QA, and localization.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain production schedules, milestones, and dependency tracking.
  • Experience running production rituals and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to surface risks and drive resolution.
  • Hands-on experience using production and tracking tools such as Codecks, or comparable systems.
  • Ability to manage scope, priorities, and change control in a structured and transparent manner.

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Prior experience working on narrative-driven or content-heavy games.
  • Familiarity with live collaboration across distributed or hybrid teams.
  • Experience coordinating external partners such as outsourcing studios, QA vendors, or localization services.
  • Experience working within established IPs or ongoing franchises.

 

Job responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end production for Suzerain's country DLC pipeline, covering planning, execution, delivery, and project completion.
  • Build and maintain the project plan, milestones, schedules, and day-to-day task coordination across all disciplines.
  • Run core production rituals and communications, including standups, planning sessions, reviews, and milestone readiness checks.
  • Track tasks, dependencies, risks, and decisions in Codecks and related tools, ensuring clear ownership and follow-through.
  • Coordinate cross-discipline collaboration between Content (Lead Writer and Narrative Designer), Design, Art, Tech, QA, and Localization.
  • Manage scope, prioritization, and change control to keep the team focused on the highest-value deliverables for each milestone.
  • Coordinate closely with the Lead Producer, providing regular status updates and aligning on priorities, resourcing, and timelines.
  • Organize playtests and internal feedback loops with QA and the development team, ensuring issues are triaged and resolved against milestone targets.
  • Coordinate with external partners and service providers as needed, including outsourcing, external QA, and localization vendors, ensuring quality and schedule alignment.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date production documentation in Notion and Miro, including roadmaps, processes, and key decisions.
