Establish and guide the artistic direction of Tower Storm. That means setting the tone, mood, and aesthetic for every visual element — and making sure it all fits together into a cohesive, memorable world.
I’m a solo indie developer building my dream game — Tower Storm, a multiplayer PvP tower defense game with deep strategic gameplay and fast-paced battles. The game is already live in open alpha, and I’m now looking for a visionary Art Director to help define its visual identity and lead the art direction as we grow.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the entire look and feel of an ambitious indie game right from the start — from environments and UI to animations, FX, and promotional design.
Your Role
You’ll be responsible for establishing and guiding the artistic direction of Tower Storm. That means setting the tone, mood, and aesthetic for every visual element — and making sure it all fits together into a cohesive, memorable world.
As the Art Director, you’ll work closely with me (the game’s developer) and the soon-to-be Head of Growth to bring Tower Storm’s creative vision to life — both in-game and in how we present it to the world.
At this stage, you’ll be wearing many art hats: creating concept art, designing environments and UI, refining effects, and experimenting with visuals that make gameplay pop.
What You’ll Do
Your first few months will focus on:
After some time, I’m interested in completely overhauling the art of all gameplay elements and you’ll get to put your own personal touch on everything. However, for the moment it’s all about refining the existing game until it hits product-market fit.

Why Join Now
The project is small — just me, and soon a Head of Growth — but the vision is big. You’ll have creative freedom and genuine ownership over the visual direction of a game that could grow into something major.
If things go well, there’s room to become a co-founder with equity as we expand.
How to Apply
Send an email with your resume and a brief cover letter.
Tell us exactly what you’d do in your first 90 days to improve the game’s art direction and how you’d go about it — as well as what you think needs improvement the most.
