About the Role

We are on the lookout for an Operations Manager who is passionate, adaptable, and innovative. This role is perfect for someone who dreams of combining their love for gaming with their professional skills. As the Operations Manager at our company, you will be instrumental in building our culture and ensuring that our team is growing and happy. This role spans across HR, Finance and Business, so your ability to task switch from project to project will be crucial in shaping the future of our company and its culture.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with founding team and leverage trust to evolve current company processes across the board
• Define and implement HR policies and support
• Refine and co-lead the recruitment process
• Develop a world-class onboarding program to delight new hires
• Identify and roll out flexible, cost effective benefits for the company
• Assist with finance operations like payroll and accounting
• Assist with office management duties as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or 7 years of professional experience
• Strong interest in games or interactive entertainment
• Experience with running company operations to include, Finance, HR, Recruiting, Compliance, Office Management and more
• Effective communication skills across disciplines like engineering, art, production, and business teams.
• Curiosity and keen interest in understanding player and employee needs.

Additional Desired Skills/Experience

• Experience working at a startup is highly desirable
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead initiatives to completion.

Location: New York City highly preferred, remote possible

Compensation

The pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $60,000 and $90,000 per year. However, base pay may vary further depending on individualized factors for candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
