Crossing Worlds Entertainment is looking to hire a Producer to work on their project “StoneSoldiers”.

We are an independent studio of graduates and students looking to carve our own path into the video game industry through our debut title, a turn-based strategy game where players will build armies of warriors, mages, and magical constructs to face against an opponent in objective-based battle scenarios. This game focuses on strategy from the outset, starting at the army that a player builds before the battle and the tactics they implement on the battlefield.

We are looking for a Producer to help us manage the project and our team. You will be responsible for scheduling, cross-team coordination, milestone tracking, and general production support across departments. The Producer serves as a key liaison between creative, technical, and administrative leadership, ensuring the project remains on schedule and the team has access to what they need to deliver high quality work efficiently.

This job is a contract position with payment determined based on the amount of funding and revenue we generate during the term of the contract (i.e. revenue share).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain sprint plans, milestone goals, and production calendars
  • Coordinate cross-discipline meetings, ensuring clear agendas and outcomes
  • Track progress via GitHub Projects, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities stay aligned
  • Identify production risks early and escalate blockers to the appropriate leads
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on tasks, timelines, and delivery expectations
  • Support internal reviews and documentation handoffs
  • Help facilitate team morale, conflict resolution, and workflow clarity

Requirements

  • Experience as the producer for large scale game development projects
  • Understanding of the primary documents relevant to game development ( GDD, TDD, SOT, etc. )
  • Proof of strong leadership, communication, and scheduling skills
  • Understanding of some Kanaban/Agile workflow
  • Experience task managing to reach KPI goals for deadlines ( ie. Investor meetings )
  • Experience documenting meeting decisions in a fashion to be handed off to primary leadership roles

Nice to Have

  • Surface level understanding of pipelines for art, audio, programming, and marketing disciplines of game development
  • Experience working with large documents and spreadsheets
