Fellow Traveller is seeking an experienced Producer to join our team and deliver production functions including release management for our titles on PC, consoles and mobile, production schedule planning, and customer support.

This is a full time contract role and would ideally be based in the Central European time +/- 2 hours, although we will also accept applications from candidates based on the West Coast of America or the East Coast of Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the production duties on a selection of our titles (splitting the portfolio with another Producer) and should expect to be launching 2-3 new games per year as well as additional platform launches and updates for released titles.

They will be the key point of contact for each of the developers they look after with regard to production and release management and will coordinate with our marketing team, scout, biz dev and the leadership team as well as external suppliers.

Please note - the role often requires calls outside of regular business hours due to the global nature of the business and the distributed nature of both our internal team and the developers we work with. However, we also provide a degree of flexibility around what the role’s regular business hours are to accommodate and reflect this.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work with external development teams distributed across the globe across multiple time zones
  • Work with the internal team distributed across the globe across multiple time zones
  • Maintain good, open relationships with our developers, partners and collaborators
  • Work with developers to create milestone schedules and assess deliverables throughout the development process
  • Liaise with external partners to organise porting, localisation and QA ensuring they align with project schedules
  • Collaborate with other members of the team to review and improve processes
  • Contribute to the signing of new projects through the due diligence process
  • Be accountable for the management of development costs

 

Must have requirements

  • Experience managing code submissions for console certification
  • A strong understanding of the game development lifecycle
  • Experience working with external service providers covering porting, localisation and QA
  • Well versed in project management methodologies and has the ability to apply them in a wide range of situations
  • Capable of working independently with minimal direction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - particularly the ability to work with partners and colleagues in different time zones when real-time communication is not as easy.
