Kluge Interactive is an XR studio building the future of human connection through immersive and enhanced experiences. We are best known for Synth Riders, one of the most popular VR rhythm games.

We are working on several other VR titles and developing XR experiences for some of the world's most influential VR, music, and technology companies.

As the Senior Brand Copywriter, you’ll partner with our Marketing Director to craft content that captures the fun and excitement of our upcoming arcade-style VR fighting game, FINAL FURY, among other current and future Kluge titles. Beyond that, you’ll also play a crucial role in shaping Kluge’s voice and tone, ensuring it remains consistent, authentic, and resonates deeply with our player base. We’re seeking someone who combines creativity with strategic thinking, harbors a genuine passion for VR gaming, and possesses an unwavering dedication to creating compelling copy that grabs players’ attention.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a copywriter, journalist, or creative writer 
  • Proven track record of writing exceptional short- and long-form marketing copy
  • Experience in content planning and strategy, with the ability to brainstorm ideas autonomously
  • Positive, open-minded approach to constructive feedback and a collaborative creative spirit
  • Strong command of the English language, with razor-sharp editing and proofreading skills
  • Able to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and work independently and as part of a team
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written


Desired Requirements

  • Experience crafting and maintaining a content style guide
  • Prior experience working at a video game publisher or developer
  • Passion for VR/AR video games (fighting and/or rhythm games is a plus)



  • Write, edit, and review marketing assets, including but not limited to: blog posts, newsletters, product page descriptions, social media posts, release notes, and press releases
  • Establish and uphold content style guidelines, ensuring our voice and tone are consistent and maintaining a high standard of writing excellence across Kluge’s entire product portfolio
  • Spearhead the development of a content strategy and calendar
  • Conduct interviews with key individuals to produce articles for Kluge and various partners
  • Perform regular copy audits to ensure all messaging stays up-to-date and on-brand
  • Support the process of drafting creative briefs for visual marketing assets
  • Partner with the Lead Narrative Designer to align external messaging with in-game storytelling
  • Support the creation of business development materials and presentations as needed
