We’re looking for a Senior Programmer to remotely join our wonderful team and help us grow our technical skills to the next level.

The person we’re looking isn’t just a great programmer, but is also deeply interested in good team practices, in collaborative teamwork, and in training and growing the junior- and mid-level engineers around them.

As a Senior team member, you’d also be expected to take an active interest in the strategy and management of the studio as a whole.

 

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the high-level technical architecture of our projects
  • Overseeing and developing the engineering team’s processes and practices
  • Overseeing the professional development of junior- and mid-level engineers
  • Taking ownership of and developing core game systems

 

Requirements

  • Experience shipping multiple games
  • High level of fluency in C# and/or C++
  • Experience developing gameplay systems in a 3rd-party game engine
  • We don’t only use Unity for our games! Unreal (or other) experience very welcome.
  • A proven track record of training and mentoring less-senior engineers
  • Due to our small team and a significant number of our employees being international, we require potential applicants to be able to speak English

 

Preferred experience

  • Python is an asset
  • Multiplayer networking experience is an asset
  • Experience working on live-service games
  • Experience with Jira, Slack, Notion, source control, continuous integration and web services

 

Compensation

This is a permanent position. After completing a probation period you will be a full co-owner of the company, contributing equally to all strategy decisions and sharing in all profits. Exigences du poste

  • Expérience en développement de plusieurs jeux publiés.
  • Grande maîtrise de C# ou de C++.
  • Expérience en développement de systèmes de jeu dans un moteur tiers.
  • Nous n’utilisons pas que Unity! Une connaissance d’Unreal (ou autre) serait un formidable atout.
  • Capacité avérée à former et à mentorer des ingénieurs en logiciels moins expérimentés.
  • Comme nous formons une petite équipe dont bon nombre des membres se situent à l’étranger, nous exigeons que toute personne voulant se joindre à nous sache parler anglais.

  • Expérience des jeux-services.

Rémunération

Il s’agit d’un poste permanent. Après avoir terminé une période de probation, la ou le titulaire du poste sera copropriétaire à part entière de l’entreprise, contribuera de façon équitable à toutes les décisions stratégiques et recevra sa part des profits.
