As Principal Artist on LoG's next project, you will make fundamental decisions on the processes and pipelines of the game from pre-production through to release, working in partnership with the creative director and engineers to deliver outstanding game-ready art assets with the goal of building a beautiful and living game world.

League of Geeks is looking for a talented Principal Artist with strong 2D game art skills (who loves building game worlds!) to join us on our next exciting project. In this pivotal role, you will take responsibility for developing and employing the game's art in-engine (e.g. Unity or Unreal) while helping fellow artists achieve their goals. You have experience building pipelines for games in-engine, and a decent understanding of 2D animation techniques (e.g. Spine, Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, etc).

As a key member of LoG's team you will make fundamental decisions on the processes and pipelines of the game through pre-production, working in partnership with the creative director and engineers to deliver outstanding game-ready art assets with the goal of building a beautiful and living game world. You are an expert in your craft and will be able to provide critical guidance to other artists working on the project whilst maintaining a sustainable, healthy and positive working environment for the team to thrive in.

Soon to emerge from our recent hibernation, League of Geeks remains committed to building a world-class working environment for game developers, with a genuine focus on well being, skill development, community and purpose. So if you’re keen to join the reinvention of one of the world’s leading independent studios as we embark on a brand new PC/console project, we want to hear from you!

This is a full-time, 24-month fixed-term position with the possibility of ongoing employment, though make no mistake, you will be a critical part of the LoG team.

Women and other underrepresented developers, please apply! We pride ourselves on our inclusive work environment and output, so we’d love to work with you.
