Join LingoLooper as our Lead Developer and help shape the future of language learning. Work directly with the co-founder on a small, remote-first team to build and run a game loved by over 500,000 users. LingoLooper lets players practice real conversations with 3D AI avatars to help them finally start speaking a new language.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features in Unity (gameplay, UI, learning systems).
• Develop and extend the .NET backend (C#, API logic, AI integration).
• Implement AI-powered features and prompt-based mechanics.
• Understand and work with the app’s deployment stack (Azure, Kubernetes).
• Help run the development process alongside the co-founder: prioritize, build, iterate, and ship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Unity experience (C#).
• 3+ years .NET backend experience (C#).
• Comfortable with PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and production-level architecture.
• Familiarity with AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, voice APIs).

Bonus Points:

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially Azure + Kubernetes.
• Past work in games, edtech, or language learning products.
• Experience in early-stage startups or indie projects with high ownership.
