We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations with a penchant for utilising AI tools to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating the startup ecosystem, steering the operational helm as we transition from an Innovate UK funded phase towards fundraising.

As our Head of Operations, you’ll be stepping into a dynamic and evolving startup environment, with the mandate to streamline operations and integrate innovative AI tools methodologically at all organisational levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the operational strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with project milestones and organisational goals.
• Drive the methodological integration of AI tools across all levels of the organisation to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Liaise closely with the CEO/Creative Director and Head of Organisational Development to ensure seamless coordination across all project facets.
• Oversee the bookkeeping, accountancy, tax, VAT, and SEIS registration processes, ensuring compliance and timely submissions.
• Assist in coordinating game development processes, integrating agile methodologies where possible to enhance project management efficiency.
• Engage in budgeting and financial planning, supporting the transition towards the fundraising phase of the project.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in operations management within a startup or tech-centric environment, with a track record of navigating through the fundraising stage.
• Comfortable with utilising and integrating AI tools to streamline operations and decision-making processes.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills.
• Residing in the UK, with a preference for those based in or near London.
• Ability to thrive in both autonomous and collaborative settings, adapting to the evolving needs of the project.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion and interest in gaming and wellbeing 

Additional Details:

• Location: London, UK (Ideally in-person, Remote working within the UK is viable)
• Contract Term: October 1 - January 1 (with potential for long-term engagement)
