We’re vvd. We make tools for storytellers. Right now we’re focused on TTRPGs and fiction, but that’s just where we’re starting. Our goal is simple: empower people to create worlds, stories, and experiences that others can get lost in.

We’re still at the beginning of our own story, and we’re looking for a few people to help write the next chapters.

In a moment where “AI creative tools” are pumping out slop on one side and sparking endless debate on the other, we choose a different route: use this technology to elevate human craft and creativity — not replace it.

About the role

We’re looking for a creator who can think, make, and publish content for Chinese-speaking audiences. You’ll work closely with our team to follow trends on the major Chinese platforms, understand what’s happening in those communities, and turn that into short, effective, truly native content.

What you’ll do

• Create short-form content (video, audio, text) tailored for Chinese-speaking audiences.
• Track trends, memes, and conversations across Chinese platforms and adapt them to our brand.
• Brainstorm and plan ideas with our team.
• Post consistently on Douyin, Bilibili, Xiaohongshu, Weibo, Kuaishou, and any other relevant platforms.
• Help us understand what resonates — and what doesn’t — in Chinese-speaking markets.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience making content, with examples you can share.
• Ability to edit simple videos quickly, cut clips, and write strong hooks.
• Deep understanding of online culture, humor, and youth communities across China and diaspora spaces.
• Reliable, proactive, and comfortable collaborating with a distributed team.

Nice to have

• Experience with gaming, fiction, or TTRPG content.
• Familiarity with vvd or worldbuilding tools.
• Familiarity with the differences between platforms (e.g., tone on Xiaohongshu vs energy on Douyin).
