About the role:

We’re looking for a strategy-oriented and organised campaign manager with 2+ years of marketing experience. Experience in the gaming industry is not necessary, but passion for gaming is crucial. You’ll work alongside our team on a variety of marketing campaigns, from content creator partnerships to press and creator sendouts.

Your responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering high-impact social, creator and community campaigns for our clients in the gaming and tech industry
  • Working on social media and creator strategy for gaming campaigns

  • Managing projects and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Measuring impact and reporting on campaigns
  • Participating in external and internal meetings
  • Contributing to client pitches

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 2 years of relevant marketing experience in the creative industries (gaming, social media, marketing, advertising, PR)
  • Experience in strategising, planning and delivering campaigns
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Proactive and able to take charge
  • Able to commute to our office in Hackney
  • A passion for gaming!

Nice-to-haves:

  • Gaming marketing experience
  • Previous strategy-focused roles
  • Experience using Notion

Benefits:

  • Small but expanding team with room to learn and grow
  • A four-day working week every second week
  • Friendly atmosphere and low stress – we work with really lovely people!
  • 28+ paid vacation days – happy for you to take as much time off as you need, as long as your work isn’t suffering!
  • Flexible working conditions for early birds and late risers
  • Company laptop and equipment
  • Private health insurance
  • Annual bonus

Location:

Flexible working, with at least one day in the office a week. Being able to commute to our office in Dalston, Hackney is a must as we’ll need your help with the logistics of creator and press shipping.

Salary range:

£32,000 – £34,000, depending on experience.

This is a full-time role. Our core hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Every second week, we work a four-day working week – Monday to Thursday.

How to apply:

Apply by sending us an email with your CV and a blurb about why you want to work with us. Please also send us a link to your Linkedin/Twitter, whatever’s more relevant!

We’ll be accepting applications until the 30th of September.

About
YRS TRULY

YRS TRULY is an award-winning creative studio based in London. We help brands in tech and gaming be more inclusive and reach new audiences. 😀 You can find out more about work here, check in with us on Twitter.

We’re an ethical business, which means we care about inclusivity, fair wages, financial transparency and sustainability. As members of the Conscious Advertising Network, we champion diversity and stand against misinformation and hate speech. We’ve also taken Ukie’s Raise the Game pledge to work towards equality and inclusivity in the gaming industry.

Our code of ethics

YRS TRULY was born out of a belief that gaming is for everyone — and we want to champion a better, fairer, more egalitarian society for all. Here’s how we’re planning to do our bit:

  • Diversity and inclusion
We want to see opportunities being given to those who have felt excluded from gaming. This is at the core of who we are — previously overlooked ourselves, now making space for others like us. In practice, this means doing our best to provide opportunities for content creators and contractors of marginalised backgrounds. We see them as a natural part of the larger gaming community.

  • Fair and transparent pay
    • We pay our employees and contractors fairly and on time.
    • No full-time employee past their probation earns less than £30,000.
    • Financial stability and the long-term safety of employees are our priority.
    • We’re transparent with our donations, making them public as they happen. List of recent donations can be found here.
    • We publish salaries at the end of the year — like we have in 2021.

  • Advice and services at a discounted rate
We provide our services at a discounted rate to charities, non-profits and small businesses fully owned by members of underrepresented groups. Where possible, dependent on schedule, we’re also happy to offer mentorship or advice to game developers, publishers and content creators of underrepresented groups.

  • Supporting small businesses
Where possible, we give preference to suppliers with ownership from underrepresented populations. We also do our best to support small retailers and producers where we can.
By 2023, we aim to make at least 30% of purchases from suppliers with ownership from underrepresented populations.

  • Not making the world a worse place
As most of our business takes place online, it’s hard to measure our environmental impact. We can, however, take steps to ensure that we remain as sustainable as possible:
    • When possible, we use public transport instead of cars. We also use train connections, including internationally, instead of flying.
    • We are a vegetarian/vegan business — our team lunches and catering at our events and shoots will always be vegetarian/vegan. When looking for catering, we will also give priority to local vegetarian and vegan suppliers.
    • We have a list of environmentally-preferred suppliers for shipping, our HQ and home offices, and we buy locally where we can.
    • We participate in our council’s recycling programme.
    • Our merch, t-shirts and business cards are all sustainably printed. We don’t create items meant to be thrown away — everything can be reused or recycled.

We’re always looking to improve how we conduct our business and are open to suggestions from employees, contractors and clients.
