Hyper is in search of a Technical Artist with deep expertise in Unity and a passion for creating immersive avatar tools. As a critical member of our small and dynamic team, you will have an outsized impact on our product, working on everything from technical art to implementing Unity-based features for our avatar platform.

You will:

💻 Drive the development of our Unity tooling and experience. Collaborate closely with another Unity developer, impacting all levels of our technology stack.

🔧 Implement specs for our avatar platform to help us build a leading-edge immersive toolset.

📈 Be part of a dedicated team focusing on a rapidly growing product with strong market traction. Thrive in a fast-paced environment where adaptability and rapid prototyping are the norms.

🎨 Lead the pipeline involved in the 3D creation process, including rigs and related components.

Qualifications

🎮 Minimum 5 years of experience building with Unity, or proof of equivalent experience through public personal projects.

💻 Proficient in C# and have a profound understanding of Unity.

🗂️ A public online portfolio showcasing your Unity projects, including games, open source projects, or modules.

🧱 Deep understanding of 3D, rigs, and the pipeline involved in the creation process.

🔐 Familiar with software development best practices, version control, and collaboration tools.

📝 Exceptional written communication skills. Our team is fully remote, with several members based in California, making written communication a must.

🏅 Bonus: Familiarity with consumer software architecture or augmented reality.
