We’re looking for an experienced Producer to join our fully remote boutique videogame studio.
What you’ll do
- Oversee and manage the main production timeline for the project
- Work closely with leadership to ensure a smooth and efficient development process through the lifecycle of the project through to launch on console and PC
- Working closely with the team to manage scope, project backlog and milestone deliverables
- Identifying risks and being proactive in problem solving
- Facilitating communication across the team to ensure processes are carried out and we are moving forwards together with the project
- Work with our QA contractors, platform, and localization and other partners to coordinate delivery of milestones
- Working closely with Directors and Operations to develop wider studio strategy and future planning
Who we’re looking for
- Extensive experience working in a senior or lead production role in video game development
- Experience with self-publishing a commercial video game on PC and console
- Shipped at least one commercial video game title on PC and console
- Prior experience with localization, QA, submission, and build processes
- Excellent leadership, project management, oral and written communication skills
- Thorough understanding and experience across product management tool sets (Favro, Notion, Miro, Google Workplace, etc.) and agile methodology
- Strong capability to multitask, prioritize, take initiative and work autonomously to strategise and spearhead deliverables
Must-haves
- Based in the UK
- Aspirations towards a production leadership role as studio grows (from 5 to around 15 people in total for current project)
- Good people management skills and interest in further personal development
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with Unity projects
- Prior experience delivering a 3D first-person title
- Prior experience shipping a game on PlayStation
- Experience in growing a team
