Andromeda Entertainment is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our growing team to help our rhythm dance game title, Audio Trip, grow their social media presence and support their community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for virtual reality rhythm games, and a deep understanding of social media and community management.

Responsibilities

• Develop social media calendars for clients and organize community activities for their respective communities
• Be interested in and put yourself in the place of a virtual reality rhythm game to understand players' expectations and help the development team identify opportunities and risks that would impact the final state of the game
• Manage and post on social media channels including: Discord, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Oculus, Reddit, Steam, TikTok, and Twitter.
• Oversee community forums and moderate accordingly (Discord, Reddit, Steam)
• Take part in weekly meetings to discuss social media strategy and update development team on feedback gathered
• Travel to shows, conventions, conferences, and meets to interface and create opportunities with key players within the video game industry
• Be interested in and take a position on subjects beyond social media and community management (organizations, marketing, etc.)

Required skills

• At least 1-2 years of experience in the video game industry doing social media and community management work
• Have knowledge or interest in the video game industry, particularly in the virtual reality sector
• The ability to develop and execute social media and community strategies
• Have an excellent grasp of the English language (written and oral)
• Experienced with working in a small team and taking on the social media and community management responsibility within our organization
• Have strong time management skills as we are an asynchronous, remote team

Compensation and benefits

• Contractor, $2000/month
